This is a great Philly. Place has been here 50!years and I know why. Deliciousness! Half chicken half steak with fresh cut mushrooms onions and peppers with cheese. Amazing. Reasonably priced and the people were cool. Hasn’t been updated much probably since they opened lol but it adds to the originality. I recommend this and I’ll be back

Happy to have found this place as our first stop while visiting the city. The energy of the staff was nice, calm, and easy going. Recommendations were delightful. And of course, food was superior! Crinkle fries are never cooked well for some odd reason but this shop cooked them to perfection. The Philly was so fresh and clean tasting! Again, cooked to perfection. We love trying as many restaurants as possible while visiting a new city, but we actually had to talk ourselves out of going back for dinner the same night to try something new!

The cheese steak sandwiches are just as good as in Philadelphia. My wife got the Rachel sandwich and she loved it. Looking forward to my next visit. Great work guys. 👍🥂

The owner John and his crew is legendary! It was my first time here and not only did they take my card (cash only restaurant) but the food was delicious! Think REAL steak y’all. I ordered the full Philly cheesesteak combo (drink +fries) for $13.50 and I’m STUFFED so much that I’ll order Half next time lol. Next time I get in here the owner recommended me get chicken Philly cheese steak. So, that’s next up 😋

Look this is just a basic mom and pop place, excellent food, excellent service. Now it's not the prettiest place in the world, it's older Florida from 1986 , maybe a few remodels since there. However the PRICE makes up for any deficiency in the atmosphere. So do you really want to go here for a first date ..not really. You want some good food at a great price (cash only). Definitely go here.

I have being ordering the steak sub with the wine sauce for 29 years . Things sure changed since John is no longer there. The steak sub it’s not the same actually deteriorated the last couple times I ordered. It’s really a shame because they had the best steak sub in Broward county when John owned or managed the place. It’s no only much less meat but the taste is not the same.

Went in to pick up an order for someone, was thinking about getting something to eat, *looking through the menu* but was in the mood for something I didn’t really see on there.. so, I just decided to pick up the order instead. The Lady behind the counter asks for the name on the order, I show her. she says “Gracias” didn’t think much of it.. I said “no prob.” she continued to only try to speak to me in her limited Spanish, asking me to confirm the order.. that’s when I realized I was being racially profiled.. I haven’t said not even said a single word in Spanish..
